The world is vast, wide and unlimited; from oceans to mountains and deserts to dense forests. The world grows, changes, and shapes with every individual change and growth being unique and significant in its own way. It is from these various nuances of uniqueness that my inspiration flows.
I may start with a spark of an idea either in watercolor, pastel, acrylic, pencil, or even clay, but once it is on paper, canvas or whatever the medium requires, I am put into the backseat while my art takes the lead. Even the smallest of details in the world ignite my most voluminous ideas; from a simple blade of grass, or a falling leaf dancing in the wind to the music of autumn, or even the way shadows may play through the limbs of trees while the sun sets.
Like this, my mind plays with and dances to the rhythm of nature’s heartbeat and song. And as the vastness of all nature grows, the flowers blossom, the seasons come and go, and the trees reach for the sky with branches like long fingers, my art expands and reaches as well for greater heights and new ideas.”
